CHS students wanted their own space to spout news and views
Academic Perspectives launched Oct. 18 by a group of students to give space for opinion, information and, oh yeah, rants."The school does not
have anything like Academic Perspective, and forming a school club would be slow and bogged down by the need administrative
approval," said co-creator Ben Drucker. "Rather than rely on the school to start this, which I knew would be a slow
process and would likely die before its inception, I decided to undertake the project myself with the help of two fellow Columbia
High School students, Academic Perspective Managing Editors Ben Donald and Seth Wolin." And this is not jsut student council and la crosse games.
