3:48 p.m. - Alert for suspects in a Union carjacking, headed east on Springfield Ave. near Parkwood Diner
3:33 p.m. - Police declare all clear in area.
3:04 p.m. - Police on scene say it is a home invasion, no details, but weapons taken.
2:40 p.m. - Three weapons recovered from a basement in a detail that included some South Orange police. Location unknown, but traffic blocked off on Springfield Avenue betwen Burnett and Boyden streets.

6:17 a.m. - Elderly man on Parker Street complains of chest pains. Later determined to be okay.
4:29 p.m. - About 10 youths setting papers on fire outside of Maplecrest Park.
Wednesday, Jan. 20
8:30 p.m. -  Police put out an alert for gunmen wanted for three robberies in Newark who might be heading this way. In a four-door gold Acura, Pa. license plate, partially 5H7.
Tuesday, Jan. 19
8 p.m. - Police responding to a call on Hilton Ave. of a teen who came home from a walk to the library with razor blade marks all over his body.
8:03 p.m. - Cops called to a pedestrian struck at Springfield and Tuscan, later taken to University Hospital.
